The optimised workstation offers a first-class solution for straight skirt and trouser waistbands. 

   Shaped waistbands can also be processed quickly and easily.

   Topstitching is done both in the seam shadow and on the waistband edge. 

   Flat, pucker-free seams due to needle feed and top puller feed.

Compensating foot for 1.6mm topstitching width

      Topstitching of straight or curved waist bands with a margin of 1,6 mm (optional hinged compensating foot 0274 006834) on the left hand side of the waistband with optional compensating foot for flexible use, e.g. for Casual trousers, ladies’ trousers and skirts etc. 

Presser foot stroke adjustment

      When processing thicker materials and pile fabrics (e.g. velvet / cord), the sewing foot stroke adjustment can be set to a value of up to 10. This helps to "float" the presser foot over the material, without putting pressure on the waist band. Warping the waistbands in sewing direction against the pile (line direction) is thus prevented. Only the needle and puller transports the material.
