        - The dial allows you to set your sewing foot stroke for your common sewing operation and benefit from maximum sewing speed.  To climb over cross seams just activate the maximum foot stroke by pushing the knee switch.  Machine speed will be reduced automatically.  Pushing the knee switch again will get you back to your standard foot stroke.
